The direct route
The fastest way from Marrakech to Fes runs via the motorway and takes roughly seven to eight hours of driving. It's efficient if you're short on time, and we can add a short stop in Beni Mellal or Ifrane — the "Switzerland of Morocco" — to break the journey.
